What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!
It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme started by Sheila at Book Journeys and now hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover your next “must-read” book!
Jen at Teach Mentor Texts and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.

  1. I picked up Never Let Me Go from my local library book sale a couple weeks ago. How did you like it?

    Here is my weekly update!

  2. I really liked the book Towers Falling. It does a great job of presenting the events of Sept. 11, 2001 in a way that kids (who weren't even born yet) can relate to.

  3. I have not yet read Towers Falling. I would love to read it to my kiddos, though. Thank you for sharing, Kristi!

  5. I have students who have loved Towers Falling--I need to get to it. I do love the She Persisted books--I've read the first one to my son; I just need to get the next one. The others I haven't read and don't know too well.

    Happy reading this week :)

  6. I enjoyed The Goldfish Boy, and I remember reading The Diving Bell, but I imprinted as a child on The Blue Sword and I still love it. Was it your first read?

  7. I really loved She Persisted. I asked our librarian to purchase the Around the World version, and I just got it from our library. I've been meaning to read Never Let Me Go for the longest time now. :)
