Great writing idea (for kids and adults). A lot of fabulous things you've crossed off that list and some amazing ones to come.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't wait to read your bucket list. You've already ticked off some amazing adventures.
ReplyDeleteWow! What an amazing list...so glad I found your blog today. Can't wait to read and learn more from you!
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific list! Lots of great adventures!
ReplyDeleteGood thing you are only 40...gives you lots of time to complete this great list. Makes me want to write mine down...I just carry it in my head.
ReplyDeleteMine got written down as an idea of generating writer's notebook ideas. It helped me in the process of discerning if it was something I just wanted to do or if it was Bucket List worthy.
DeleteThis is a great bucket list!!I like how you crossed out the ones that you already did. I def. recommend a year in NYC! I <3 NY. I would love to see U2 in concert and see Machu Pichu sometime soon. I hope you get to do everything on your bucket list! Thanks for including me on your blog roll! I'm putting your blog on my 2 teaching blogs as well!
ReplyDeleteYou were the inspiration, I think I put it in your comments. I had one in my notebook and just had to figure out the dates to put the completions down.
DeleteThanks for the reciprocal blog roll. When the day comes to move to Manhattan you will be one of the people I ask loads of questions.
You are an adventurous person! Adventures to come, adventures completed, that is awesome. My husband is longing to do a bike trip in Holland. I love the flat aspect of that. I see possibilities of slices in the future to relive some of these. I hope?
ReplyDeleteMy husband would bike anywhere. It is the flat aspect that I find to be hugely appealing as well.
DeleteHmmmm - what a great idea for a post. Got me thinking. Not sure I could come up with a list even as remotely amazing as yours.
ReplyDeleteYou have just inspired a bunch of us to do bucket lists! Great ideas, great adventures and a lot to look forward to! Good luck
ReplyDeleteRead the Newberys! Girl, we must be kindred spirits.
ReplyDeleteI love kindred spirits. Other great lists of books you want to share?
DeleteThat's a good idea. You have accomplished some pretty amazing things already.
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing list! Good for you . . I think I need to think about my list you've inspired me thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, look how much you've accomplished already! I see lots of exciting adventures in your future! P.S. Forty sound young to this fifty-seven year old grandma!
ReplyDeleteFifty-seven sounds young to me to be a grandma!
DeleteI'm turning 40 this year. What a great idea to make a list like this. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious - anything specific in NYC or just loving the city! I was there last summer for two weeks and loved it. I live about an hour outside Chicago and I realize I need to take advantage of the city more.
ReplyDeleteI want to live in the City, preferably Manhattan, for a full year. I have spent a couple of month chunks there for work, but think it would be great to experience the full cycle. There is an international school there so it is a reasonable possibility, even while we are still teaching.
DeleteI can see you crossing off more things with the years to come. You dream bold and make them come true. Happy launch into 40!
