I sat down to write today's slice and have been caught up in Iditarod updates, stats, pictures, interviews, etc. for the past hour two hours. Does anyone else follow the Iditarod?

This year's race is well under way. I am a fan of Aliy Zirkle. Aliy has been gracious about her second place finishes the past two years. I am really hoping this is her year. We haven't had a woman win the Iditarod since 1990. It is time!
